How is this different from home health or the nurses in my doctor's office?
Home health nurses focus on clinical care—things like wound care, medications, or treatments at home. Nurses in a doctor's office support the provider and help manage people's care, often within the flow of a busy practice.​
My role is completely different. I don't replace your medical team—I create space to help you make sense of everything around your care and think through what to do next. ​

How is this different from a patient advocate or care manager?
Patient advocates and care managers focus on coordinating care—arranging services, managing logistics, and helping things run smoothy. My role is different. I don't manage your care—I help you make sense of it and think through what to do next.

The Clarity Pathway™ is the structured way I think through medical situations with you. It's a calm, step-by-step way of making sense of what's going on, understanding your options, and figuring out what to do next—without feeling rushed. It's not something you have to learn or follow. It simply guides how we move through the conversation so everything feels more clear and manageable.
Do you replace my doctor or nurse practitioner?
No—your doctor or nurse practitioner is still responsible for your diagnosis and treatment. My role is to support you in understanding what's happening and thinking through what to do next. In our work together, we focus on making sure:

​This works alongside your medical care—not in place of it.
Do you help with medical emergencies?
No—I don't provide on-call or emergency services. If something urgent comes up, please contact your provider or 911.
How much does it cost?
A one-hour clarity session is $125.
​In that time, we focus on what's going on, what matters most, and what to do next—so you leave feeling clear and more steady.

​Sometimes one session is enough. Other times, people choose ongoing support. There's no commitment beyond what you need.
​If your situation is more complex or ongoing, we can talk through whether continued support would be helpful.
Do you accept insurance?
No—services are private pay and not billed through insurance. Because this work focuses on helping you make sense of your situation and think through decisions—rather than providing medical treatment—it's typically not covered by insurance plans.
Do you work with people who live out of state?
Yes—I work with people from across the country. While I am based on Northern Virginia and often work with families in the DMV area, many of the people I work with are in different states. Because this work is done virtually, you can still have a place to think things through, feel clear about what's going on, and know what to do next—no matter where you live.
